HOW TO PROMOTE YOUR THERAPY BLOG - 6 STEP CHECKLIST

REMEMBER:  When you share your blog out on social media, include these three points in your captions....

(1) Who the blog is for

(2) What the outcome will be after reading it

(3) Where they can find it (the web link).

This will allow readers to see if the blog is for them .... and a way to attract your ideal client,.

Create an image to complement your blog and upload this to your blog page on your website

Post the image directly to your social media channels with a description of your blog: the title, who it’s for and what the outcome will be after reading it. (Don’t forget to add the link).

Ask three colleagues to share your post

Now, add the same content to your social media scheduling tool for next week’s schedule (If you are short on time, leave this task until your ‘Scheduling Hour’ in your diary’).

Add your new blog link to your email signature with the title.

Share your blog to your Facebook groups (check admin permissions). Write a reminder in your diary of FB sharing days for specific groups

LET'S STEP IT UP A BIT.....

Create 4 images from your blog post’s main points to share later.

Repost your blog as an article on LinkedIn. Copy and paste your blog, create an article post and add your image

Record a video introducing your blog...(What it is called, who it is for and what the outcome will be after reading it). Upload this to social media and add the link to your blog. Save the video and ask colleagues to share.

Create a text video with your blog’s main points. Upload it to social media and add the link to your blog

Create a story on Instagram introducing your blog; encourage the viewer to visit your bio for the link (remember #Tags and location tags).

Create an infographic of the main points in your blogs. Upload these to your blog page (Use Canva.com).

Go back to older blogs and add links to your new blog (Add ‘Related Reading’ at the end of your blog, add the new blog title and link).
